Eddie Gluskin VS Reader Chap 3

           "G-Get married?! B-But! We're just met!" Was your surprised reply to him. As if he has seen it coming, the stranger smiles sweetly and replies: "It's me, Eddie Gluskin... Don't you recall our meetings at all.. Darling..?" It was then it hits you, Eddie... Gluskin... That's right... You've met him before... It was an unfortunate date... It was the date when they put him to the "test" moreover it was also your first day. Your face drains off its usual color as you recall back to that date.

           You step in front of the door of the mad patient with his profile on your hands. "Eddie.. Gluskin?" You mumble out as you look upwards to the gloomy room containing the dangerous patient. With his back facing you, the guy slowly speaks up in a weak voice: "That would be me..." You smile happily at him and answers energetically "Good morning sir! I'll be your taker from today! I'm new here so I'll be looking forward to be working with you and helps you to get through insanity!" Without any answer, Eddie stood up and quietly turns to look at you in the eyes. "I was never insane, it's you people who decide to put me into their theory about insanity" He says aggressively as he makes his way to the grey door. Confused, you look at the file and then back at him. "I'm really sorry sir.... B-But you must have done something in the past that might make them think so.... right...?" Suddenly he bangs on the steel door with his fist angrily scaring you for a minute.

           "I'VE NEVER DONE ANYTHING THAT YOU PEOPLE CALL INSANE!.. Tch.... Whatever, you wouldn't understand anyway..." He mumbles out with a sigh at the end of his sentence.

           "I'm really sorry to upset you sir..." Still stunt from his threatening action, you bow down and apologies. It was then you heard him laughing. Now confused, you look back at him laughing his head off.

           "You're quite interesting for a new girl"

           "T-Thank you... I suppose..?"

           He leans back against the cold steel door as he asks you what his plan was for the day. You replies that he is to be sent to the professionals to a machine that they believe can make him sane again. With a long sigh, he looks back at you calmly. After awhile, you were convinced that he wouldn't act aggressively again so you signal the guards behind you to open his door. As your group makes your way to the machine room, accidently, you trips over something but then he caught you in his arm. Laughing as he lifts you up, he embraces you into his arms as he whispers into your ear: "Your perfume smells good...For a man" Angry and embarrassed as the same time, your face turns red as you look at him angrily. He then lets you go unamused since the guard poked a gun behind him. Still feeling a bit angry, you hit his arm when the guards were not looking but all you could get out of him was a devilish smirk.

           When you arrive to the room, he was taken away to the machine. As for you, they order you to stay and wait for him. After he was mercilessly tied to the cold hearted machine, the machine then works its "magic" on him. Through the sound proof windows, your eyes witness the unbearable scene in front of them. Electric runs up and down through his body, making him to struggle with all his might against the merciless, large strings around his body. All his cries and his screams were eaten up by the malicious windows. Worst of all... Through the entire process, his eyes were open, his once beautiful eyes shine with mischief now filled with pain strike through your soul, weakening your knees. For like an eternity, the machine finally stopped and so did your naive and positive thoughts about this so called "dream job". Shocked, you falls to your knees as the scene repeats over and over in your head. Your hands, legs, minds... they were all losing control of themselves from the unbelievable scene you witness...

           As the days go by... You have seen the changes in him... The machine did not bring the sane out of him... It brought the insanity out of him. He no longer was the playful and mischief patient you once know for a couple of minutes... No longer then could you stand the company's dirty work, you did what you had to and finally escaped the place.
